Three Schools of Buddhism

It’s crazy how Buddhism was introduced in India, I’m sure most people think it originated in Asia because many Asians are Buddhist. People hear the word Buddhist and think Asian.

“The Four Noble Truths are: (1) life is suffering; (2) suffering has cause; (3) eliminate cause and thereby eliminate suffering; (4) learn and pursue the proper path to alleviate suffering (i.e., the Eightfold Path).” The story he told in class today about having to have something first and then giving it up was pretty funny.

It’s interesting how Buddhism breaks down into different schools that explain the teachings each one has and the differences.
